    <heading>FROM the SCSC BOARD</heading>
    <paragraph>
    At the regular Board meeting of the Santa Clara Servant Community on October 20 the Board voted to prohibit the use of cameras at all Cursillo weekends. The only photo permitted is the group photo taken by a professional photographer.
    </paragraph>
    <paragraph>
    As a reminder, all electronic devices are prohibited. At the discretion of the rector and rectora designated team members may have cell phones available to meet emergency needs of the team and the candidates. The cooks team may use computers to assist in meal planning and preparation. Please remember the candidates are asked to leave their cell phones, pages, lap tops, etc. at home. Authorized cell phones, computers and printers should be kept out of sight of the candidates.	These are cloistered weekends. Please respect this.

<heading> "Dare to Soar with Christ" Weekend </heading>
<paragraph>
The "Dare to Soar with Christ" Cursillo weekend was a great success. We all had a very enjoyable time at Camp St. Francis, with nice weather as an added bonus. The new Cursillistas are awesome. The team was incredible. The weekend went way too fast. It truly was God's hand at work here on earth, and we are grateful to have been a part of it. We experienced His love personified by everyone present, and many that participated in the background.
    </paragraph>
    <paragraph>
And we thank every one of those people for their help and teamwork. Each time Kathy and I work a Cursillo weekend, we remark that it just can't get any better than this one. We both made the same remark after this weekend, but I suspect that there are many more of these "greatest" weekends just waiting to happen. We look forward to being a part of a few more of them.
    </paragraph>
    <paragraph>
Welcome to all the new Cursillistas. Join us in our Cursillo activities and your 4th Day, and experience God's love at a new level. We look forward to seeing you again.

The Heavens are full of the Glory of God, and our cursillistas reflect God's splendor.
    </paragraph>
    <paragraph>
Day after day they pour forth speech, and morning, noon and night the rollistas pass on their ideals.
    </paragraph>
    <paragraph>
There is no speech or language in which God's grace is not revealed.
    </paragraph>
    <paragraph>
Their voice goes out to all the laity who take it to the ends of the world.
    </paragraph>
    <paragraph>
The love of the Lord is pure and enduring forever, in our piety and study we demonstrate God's love.
    </paragraph>
    <paragraph>
Who of us can discern our own errors? Help us remove the obstacles to grace.
    </paragraph>
    <paragraph>
The Lord has sent us great leaders this weekend; may we live up to their examples by our actions.
    </paragraph>
    <paragraph>
Our faith has been strengthened by the service of our clergy; they have led us in the sacraments and prayers.
    </paragraph>
    <paragraph>
The cooks have nourished our bodies with food, and our spirits with entertainment.
    </paragraph>
    <paragraph>
Saints and angels delight to worship God in heaven; their joy is brought to us through the offering of the musicians.
    </paragraph>
    <paragraph>
In the heavens the Lord has pitched a tent for the sun; He has provided dormitories for the faithful at night.
